My Professional Experience
I am a former Royal Air Force Medic with more than 30 years driving experience.
A fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). I originally trained with a large national driving school and continued to work with them for a number of successful years.

In 2023 I set up as an independent business, Millsy's Driver Training so I could offer a more comprehensive service to my learners.
​
I am one of only two instructors in the Wyre Forest Area, that is qualified to deliver The Honest Truth Safer Driving Course.
​
As well as my driving qualifications I hold certificates in Health & Safety and First Aid.
​
I hold a current Criminal Record Check Certificate completed by the governments Disclosure Barring Service.
Tailor-Made Driver Training

Each learner driver is unique and has their own personality. Everyone learns in different ways, some learn quicker than others. Some like to learn from books, some from visual demonstration and others from on-line Apps.

The way I teach is fully client centred. Meaning that each lesson will be adapted to your own particular learning style and particular needs.

I offer a personalised approach that is custom built for each student. I’m patient, caring and ready to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be.

Training Materials and Videos
All my students are encouraged to self study in-between lessons. This helps get a better understanding of the skills needed and can reduce the amount of practical lessons needed. Ultimately saving the learner money.
I regularly review and update my training resources.
Learners will get a free app (Total Drive) and links to videos and other training materials.
I deliver The Honest Truth Safer Driving Syllabus which is aimed at keeping young and inexperienced drivers.
Fees and Payments
Fees for lessons are not published as they are set by what your requirements are at the time of booking your first lesson.
I offer discounted rates for block bookings that are paid in advance. Paying for 10 or more hours in advance receives the highest discount.
I do not charge administration fees or have any hidden costs. The prices you are quoted is what you will pay.
My preferred payment method is via BACS. You will always receive a receipt for any payments made.
Cash payments can be accepted by prior agreement.
Total Drive App
The free learner app allows pupils to see their booked lessons, driving progress, reflective logs and receive reminder messages.
In addition there are training resource videos and links to other useful learning material.
Parents can also have access to see how their son or daughter is progressing.
The Honest Truth

As a parent are you worried about how safe your son or daughter will be on the road after they pass their driving test?

I deliver The Honest Truth Safer Driving Syllabus which is aimed at keeping young and inexperienced drivers safe once they pass their driving test.
​
The course is included as part of normal driving lessons. It includes subjects such as speeding, showing off, drink or drug driving and distractions.
​
By completing the course my learners will develop a higher sense of managing risk and gain a better understanding of the causes of serious accidents.
​
Ultimately they will learn safe driving skills for life.
